Built and established in 2006, Mediterranean Drilling Fluids (MDF) is one of the fastest growing Egyptian manufacturers of specialty chemical products to a wide variety of industrial, energy and environmental customers.
MDF is a registered EGPC company whose main production facilities and warehouses are located in Al-Ameriya, Alexandria Public Freezone, which places it in a strategic location in both the Egyptian and International markets.
MDF is committed to providing high quality performance products and services at cost effective pricing levels. MDF can manufacture products that are tailored to each customers specifications and formulations.

Facilities
Production Facility
MDF is located in Alexandria Public Freezone, in Al-Ameriya Alexandria, Egypt. MDF’s production plant covers an area of 1490m2. There are two warehouses for storage of materials and products. On site MDF production plant has two cold mixer tanks and two hot reactor tanks, reaching a degree of 300’F. We have a unique facility that feeds into separate pipelines. Products are easily loaded to transport.
MDF has multiple storage facilities, an advanced nitrogen unit, along with high quality machinery. MDF can produce high volumes of excellent products which are cost effective and environmentally friendly for local and international consumption.
Laboratory
MDF has a fully equipped on-site chemical laboratory, with full production and completion capabilities of oil field chemicals. This enables us to have full control over the quality of the chemicals. We have our own laboratory testing facilities on site, which enable us to speed up the production process as well as increasing our guarantee for quality.
Environment
MDF’s main priority is to sustain and protect the environment, preventing pollution to land and air and water, from its production and manufacturing operations.
MDF has put in place a rigorous and effective policy to ensure the protection and sustainability of the environment.
